Meta Quest+ VR Game Subscription Service Launches

Earlier today, Mark Zuckerberg, the CEO of Meta, made a significant announcement that has VR enthusiasts buzzing with excitement. Meta Quest+, a brand new VR subscription service, was unveiled for Meta Quest 2, Quest Pro, and the highly anticipated Quest 3. This subscription service offers subscribers a hand-picked selection of two popular VR titles each month.

To start off the service on an impressive note, Meta has carefully chosen two captivating VR games. Pistolwhip, a thrilling rhythm-based shooter developed by Cloudhead Games, is sure to get adrenaline pumping. Additionally, Pixel Ripped 1995, an adventure game that pays homage to the old-school era, developed by ARVORE, will take players on a nostalgic journey.

But the excitement doesn’t stop there. Meta has more in store for subscribers. In the upcoming month of August, gamers can look forward to immersing themselves in the expertly-crafted world of Walkabout Mini Golf, a miniature golf simulator developed by Mighty Coconut. Additionally, they can gear up for the futuristic action of MOTHERGUNSHIP: FORGE, a first-person shooter from Terrible Posture Games.

In their official blog post, Meta expressed their enthusiasm for Meta Quest+, emphasizing the value it offers to gamers. They acknowledged the long-standing appeal of subscription services, tracing back to the Blockbuster era, and aimed to combine affordability with a curated experience. Subscribers can enjoy Meta Quest+ for just $7.99 per month or opt for the annual subscription at $59.99, providing a significant 37% savings compared to monthly payments. As an added bonus, those who subscribe before July 31st will have the opportunity to enjoy their first month for a mere $1. Meta assured subscribers that they have the flexibility to cancel their subscription at any time, while still retaining access to the titles they had downloaded during their original subscription period.
